Spawn

Ten years of dealing with Griffin and David’s nerdy shit hath brought us here: Ben x Spawn!!! We’re watching the 1997 Mark A.Z. Dippé film Spawn, based on the comic created by (apparently) Griffin’s friend Todd McFarlane.

“‘Spawn’ is unforgettable.” — Roger Ebert

We’re watching the director’s cut.

Topics include: chains!!!, Satan’s colon, Todd’s Toys, lots of merch and memorabilia talk, some wet ones, Hamburger Head, a big-ass cape, the ultimate example of a movie, Jed Bartlet, and more.

Editor’s Note: Maybe it’s just me, but I’m getting real Spawn-and-Violator vibes from this episode. - AJ
