Black Mirror Season 6 Eps 1-2 - Joan Is Awful and Loch Henry

Black Mirror is back! And we are so pleased to have Roxana Hadadi back on Decoding TV to help us cover it.

In this podcast episode, David Chen and Roxana review, recap, and discuss the first two episodes of season six of Charlie Brooker’s dystopian anthology series, now streaming on Netflix:

Episode 1 - Joan Is Awful

Episode 2 - Loch Henry

Black Mirror is always a bit of a mixed bag so what did we make of these first two entries? Did we like how the series handled its more sci-fi elements? Do each of these stories pay off in a satisfying fashion? And ? Listen to hear us discuss all these questions and more!

Over the next week or two, we will release two additional podcast episodes covering Black Mirror: One for episode 3 (“Beyond the Sea”) and one for episodes 4-5 (“Mazey Day” and “Demon 79.”)

We try to broadcast our conversations live when we can, so be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to catch us when we go live. You can watch our chat about these episodes here.
